G7: 2070

An Immersive

Summit

G7: 2070 by William Hector is a new immersive play, taking place at a G7 summit 50 years in the future, where the US, China, Europe, Ethiopia, Russia, Uruguay and The Walt Disney Nation meet to decide the fate of the world amid a climate crisis. Set in a flooded, post-climate change Miami, G7: 2070 features seven nations with two actors each portraying the leaders of their countries as they guide audiences through meetings, schemings, and plottings, engaging the audience members with high stakes and humor in this strange new future.

Produced with support from Knight Foundation as a Knight New Work Miami winning project, G7: 2070 will be performed at The Kampong, Miami, Florida, October 19, 20 and 21. Written by William Hector, Directed by Victoria Collado, Produced by Patrick Rodriguez, with support from Lost Girls Theatre.
